Shouldn't we also be able to use the Shaw's potato coupon with the roast deal? (Seems the same as using 2 Qs on a BOGO?) Thanks!

where do I get the open house coupon book
thank you

Hi Heidi, I didn't put that in there because it's VERY per store, per cashier type situation and I didn't want people getting upset that they tried it and couldn't do it. You can try it, but just remember that you may come across a cashier that won't accept it and tell you that you are already getting the item for FREE. Let us know if you try it out though!

Hi Anonymous! Shaws had an open house a few weekends back, you may be able to still find some coupon books at the CS desk or maybe at the registers. Good luck I hope you find them!!

At my Shaw's the booklets are just in the rack with the normal ads. They have had some every week.

I am going to try the potatoes thing too!

I used the potatoe coupon and also used the $2 chicken coupon against my Perdue nuggets. It is chicken after all. :)

I used the potatoe coupon & it worked fine for me!

Thought I would also share a couple things I found for free at Shaw's this week too. :)

Buy 9 Yopliat Yogurts. $4.50.
Use 2 $1/4 coupons from http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=rijmaef42416591&bt=wi&o=53504&ci=1&c=YL&p=f06aZDdM%20%20
WITH two DOUBLE COUPONS from the Price Chopper ad (take as comp. coupons.)
And use B6G1 free coupon from insert.
9 FOR FREE! :)

Also, Dannon Activia yogurt 4 packs are $2. Use $1 coupon from insert with another one of those PC double coupons to get them for free! :)

Wish I had more of those PC ads! :)

Another couple things you can do with those double coupons are:

Colgate. $1.50. Use $1 coupon with DC.
FREE plus 50 cents overage!

St. Ives Apricot Scrub. $2.99.
Use $2 printable (I don't remember where it came from)
Free plus $1.01 overage!

Is anyone else using these coupons at Shaw's? I was just wondering what deals you might have found. :)

hi, thank you for the tips on where to find the open house coupon book I did find one and i was so excited that it took the 1.00 off potato cp with the roast deal that i forgot to use the 1.00 off the roast darn!!! but i did have cats. from last week and they got scaned so i save 1.15 in tax so I guess I can't be to sad. Maybe i'll go get another roast I have a great receipe from the food network (everyday italin)they my family loves so it just might be worth it thanks again for the great post

I think I'm going to do a quick trip today.

The only freebie I am able to get is the Kraft BBQ Sauce. I have a .50/1 MFC I picked up in some book at Shaw's around Labor Day. They are on sale for 99 cents - so a 1 cent overage!!

I'm going to do the Free Can of Clorox Wipes too. There was a .75/1 MFC for Formula 409 in the Parade this Sunday and I have a .75/1 Lysol Spray I snagged from my mother's paper (she's in Fairfield County). So a can of wipes and 2 spray bottles of cleaner for $3 after coupons. Maybe now I'll actually clean :)!

I'm still thinking about the roast deal!

the roast deal works out pretty good if you get the 3 pd roast and have the 1.00 off potato and the 1.00 off beef cp from the shaws booklet 7.00 isnt a bad price for a roast, potaoes, onions, and carrots
